The SN74LVCC3245A device is an 8-bit (octal)
noninverting bus transceiver contains two separate supply rails. The B port is
designed to track VCCB, which accepts voltages from 3V to 5.5V, and the
A port is designed to track VCCA, which operates at 2.3V to 3.6V. This
allows for translation from a 3.3V to a 5V system environment and vice versa, from
a 2.5V to a 3.3V system environment and vice versa.
This device is fully specified for
partial-power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff circuitry disables the outputs,
preventing damaging current backflow through the device when it is powered down. The
VCC isolation feature is designed so that if either VCCA
or VCCB is less than 100mV, both I/O ports enter a high-impedance state
by disabling the outputs.
