Release Information
This release package provides Android GingerBread 2.3.4 distribution for TI's Sitara(TM) AM335x ARM Cortex(TM) A8 Processor. The DevKit provides Android sources with pre-integrated SGX (3D graphics accelerator) drivers, TI hardware abstraction for Audio, WLAN & Bluetooth for TI WL1271 chipset, USB mass storage, etc. Debug and development tools like tool chain, TI CCV5, ADT plugins, are provided to enable Android embedded and application developer to easily build custom Android solutions for non-phone market segments. The pre-built images in this DevKit package has Android default apps, multimedia files, RowboPerf performance and benchmarking utilities to help user evaluate and quickly prototype AM335x based Android products.
