77GHz 3D-WGA with launch on package interface (LOP) - 2x cascaded 8TX/8RX semiUniform
HS-3P-SENCITY-THIS-III-SU
Overview
77GHz 3D Waveguide Antenna 16x16 (2x 8Tx8Rx) - RF substrate independent solution family
HUBER+SUHNER has developed and manufactures a 3rd-generation 3D metallized plastic waveguide antenna designed for RF substrate-independent solutions. This cutting-edge technology, enabled by proprietary interfaces, supports a new generation of highly dense Launch on Package MMICs as 8TX/8RX configuration channels covering the full automotive 77GHz radar band (76-81GHz) in a compact port area of less 280 mm2.
The antenna design significantly reduces the MMIC package size while enhancing transmission power, receiver sensitivity, and maintaining high isolation levels, even with large assembly tolerances paving the way for large imaging radar.
The antenna targets specifically the AWR2188, with a specifif semiUniform arrangement. For other solutions see the supported products tab.
