This power-supply design for Apollo Lake SoC is a single-chip power-management IC (PMIC) designed specifically for Intel processors targeted for tablets, ultrabooks, notebooks, industrial PCs and Internet-of-Things (IOT) applications. The TPS65094 device is used for essential systems with low-voltage rails merged for the smallest footprint and lowest-cost system-power design. TheTPS65094 device provides the complete power design based on the Intel reference designs.
The power supply guide provides an example and explanation of how proper layout can be done. The guide is intended to be used with the TPS65094x schematic checklist, layout checklist and ILIM calculator tool.
A fully assembled board has been developed for testing and performance validation only, and is not available for sale.
