The VCA710RGREVM is an evaluation module (EVM) designed for the VCA710RGR, an analog front-end device that includes two main components: a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) with a fixed internal gain of 20dB and a Variable Gain Amplifier (VGA). This EVM is engineered for quick and easy demonstration of the amplifier's functionality and versatility. The EVM is equipped with onboard connectors that facilitate connections to power sources, signal sources, and test instruments. It is configured for straightforward connections with standard laboratory equipment at the input and output points. Additionally, it features banana connectors for power supplies and jumpers that allow users to easily enable, disable, or configure different modes of operation. Both the input and output traces of the LNA and VGA are differentially routed with a controlled 100Ω differential impedance, ensuring optimal performance from the device.
