Overview

CouthIT's Embedded Software Group delivers high-performance multimedia firmware and software solutions for TI Sitara and Jacinto microprocessors and microcontrollers, featuring TI C55x, C64x+, C66x, and C7x digital signal processors.

The team offers production-ready and highly optimized speech, audio and video codecs compliant with industry standards. These implementations are engineered for low program and data memory footprint, low CPU utilization in million instructions per second (MIPS), high execution performance, and excellent power efficiency.

The optimized codec portfolio is ideally suited for performance-critical enterprise applications such as media resource functions (MRF) and session border controllers (SBC), while also extending battery life in portable devices, including smartphones, personal digital assistants, and other handheld platforms.
