SAYKAL-3P-MOIS
Overview
The SAYKAL MOIS Radar Sensor utilizes Texas Instruments' AWR1843ABGABLQ1 radar sensor, operating in the 76-81 GHz frequency band. This innovative and robust sensing unit is designed for automotive out-of-cabin applications, providing high-performance short-range detection. The MOIS (Moving Off Information System) functionality is specifically developed to enhance safety for vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists, especially around Commercial vehicles. The radar sensor detects obstacles or pedestrians in front of the vehicle and in areas where there is a risk of collision. It generates warnings based on the distance to the object, allowing drivers to manage potential risks. Additionally, the system provides varying levels of alerts based on adjustable distance thresholds, enabling aids like automatic braking when necessary.
The SAYKAL MOIS Radar Sensor complies with ECE R 159 regulation.
