The SimpleLink™ Wi-Fi® SDK provides a comprehensive software toolkit for developing IoT applications on the CC35xxE family of wireless MCUs. This powerful SDK includes essential components like the Bluetooth® LE protocol stack supporting Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6 with an included networking stack based on LwIP, and the FreeRTOS kernel and TI Drivers in one easy-to-use software package, along with example applications and exhaustive documentation. When used with TI's SimpleLink Wi-Fi® CC35xxE LaunchPads, the SDK provides a complete development solution for IoT applications.

The CC35xxE SDK includes a wide range of examples that make it easy to start writing applications, each with its own documentation and project files.

 

Examples include:

• Network terminal: familiarizes users with Wi-Fi in general and demonstrate the Wi-Fi capabilities of the device
• BLE Wi-Fi provisioning: demonstrates how the BLE functionality can be used to provision the device to a Wi-Fi AP of the user's choice
• MQTT client: demonstrates how to use the MQTT protocol for establishing communication between the CC35xxE and an MQTT broker
• AT commands: demonstrates how the MCU can interact with and control the Wi-Fi using a standard set of commands
• Matter over Wi-Fi: demonstrates how the CC35xxE can act as a Matter controller for different end devices, enabling seamless communication between devices from different manufacturers
