TIDA-00879
Highly Integrated 4 1/2 Digit Low Power Handheld Digital Multimeter (DMM) Platform Reference Design
TIDA-00879
Overview
The TIDA-00879 TI-Design leverages the features, functions, performance, and state-of-the-art low power and power management capabilities of the MSP430F6736 MCU to demonstrate a highly integrated, low cost, and low power Digital Multimeter platform. The solution delivers 4.5 digits or 60K display count resolution, firmware-based True RMS and Real Power measurements, integrated LCD controller/driver subsystem, and over 600 hours of battery life with 3xAAA alkaline batteries, at extremely competitive system level costs.
Features
- Highly integrated system design solution
- 4 1/2 digit, 60K count resolution
- Low power design and power management systems
- Firmware-based true RMS and real power measurements
A fully assembled board has been developed for testing and performance validation only, and is not available for sale.
