V2.1.0
Requires base firmware release F411.04.01 for D revision devices
Requires base firmware release F311.03.10 or F311.03.11 for C revision devices
Improvements
- New: Added support for TPS257xxD-Q1 devices
- Target device must be selected in the updated Quick Start page to create a binary or import an existing app config JSON
- UI allows for "C" devices or "D" devices to be selected ("CA" device variants are supported when "C" devices are selected in the UI)
- Added DP Alternate Mode configurability (see "ALT MODE" tab) for TPS25763D device variant
- New: Added support to import prior revision JSON configuration files ("C" devices) to "D" devices when selected
- Recommend reviewing resulting configuration for any unexpected changes before programming
- New: Updated "VIN Engine On/Off" tab
- Applies to revision C and D devices
- Updated User Interface (UI) and field naming to improve intuitiveness (available features/controls for revision C have not changed, only naming & UI layout)
- Added new controls specific to "D" devices: support for additional power level and threshold settings ("RANGE 4") for improved port power management options
- Update: For TPS25762C/D and '763D device configurations, GPIO2 and GPIO3 are set to default to "Disabled" for new configurations (was previously enabling I2C function by default)
Bug Fixes
Known Limitations
- "USB Endpoint Flash" programming with TPS25763D-Q1 EVM (IPP015) may not function reliably. Recommend using "EEPROM Flash" programming in the GUI to load user application configuration binary when using the EVM. Alternatively, can use direct programming of EEPROM using a 3rd party programming tool.
