Overview

The TPS63802HDKEVM is a universal development tool designed to help the users easily and quickly evaluate and test the most common buck-boost converter use-cases. The use-cases include backup power, input current limit, LED driver, digital voltage scaling, bypass mode and precise enable. The user can easily select between the different use-cases by changing jumpers and dip-switches. No soldering is required.

The TPS63802HDKEVM uses the TPS63802 , the output voltage is set to 3.3V. The EVM operates from 1.8V to 5.5V input voltage. Output currents can go up to 2A in buck mode and boost mode.

Analog current-sense amplifiers
INA180 — 26V, 350kHz current sense amplifier LMP8646 — -2 to 76V, configurable gain and bandwidth, high-speed current limiter

 

Comparators
TLV3012 — Low-power comparator with reference (push-pull)

 

General-purpose op amps
TLV521 — Single, 5.5-V, 6-kHz, ultra-low quiescent current (350-nA), RRIO operational amplifier

 

Ideal diode/ORing controllers
LM66100 — 1.5-V to 5.5-V, 1.5-A, 0.5-µA IQ ideal diode with integrated FET

 

Load switches
TPS22910A — 5.5-V, 2-A, 60-mΩ load switch with active low enable

 

MOSFETs
CSD13302W — 12-V, N channel NexFET™ power MOSFET, single WLP 1 mm x 1 mm, 17.1 mOhm
