Overview

The UCC2183XXQEVM-123 is a compact, half-bridge gate driver board consisting of two single-channel isolated gate drivers. The EVM provides isolated bias supply, drive current, protection and monitoring needed for driving several different models of Wolfspeed® silicon-carbide (SiC) MOSFET modules and other IGBT or SiC MOSFET modules with a similar pinout. The on-board isolated bias can provide adjustable isolated voltage with passive component change.

Features
  • Fully compatible with UCC2183xx family of isolated gate drivers
  • Directly compatible with the FM3 and XM3 modules from Wolfspeed
  • UCC34141 isolated bias supplies up to 1.5W to each driver
    • Only a +12V input voltage needed to generate the primary-side and secondary-side bias voltage
  • Status LEDs indicate power-good and fault feedback from each driver
  • Test points for all critical nodes to expedite debugging
