This reference design demonstrates the combination of UCC21732 gate driver with a UCC14xxx series bias supply. This design can be used to drive a variety of power switches, including connecting directly to a Wolfspeed Silicon Carbide (SiC) field-effect transistor (FET) module. This reference design can serve as either a high-side or low-side driver, or it can be tested with a capacitive imitation load.
UCC14240-Q1, UCC14141-Q1, and UCC14341-Q1 are all drop-in replacements for the integrated bias supply, each with a different target input voltage and output power.
