Overview

The SimpleLink™ Sub-1 GHz CC1310-1190 wireless microcontroller (MCU) LaunchPad™ development kit features CC1310 Sub-1 GHz wireless MCU combined with the CC1190 high-performance RF Front End, offering long-range low power connectivity with up to +27dBm output power.

The CC1310 device is a wireless MCU targeting low-power, long-range wireless applications. The CC1310 wireless MCU contains a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor that runs at 48 MHz as the main processor and a rich peripheral feature set that includes a unique ultra-low power sensor controller. This sensor controller is ideal for interfacing external sensors and for collecting analog and digital data autonomously while the rest of the system is in sleep mode.

The CC1190 is a cost-effective and high-performance RF Front End for low-power and low-voltage wireless applications at 850 - 950 MHz, acting as a range extender for the sub-1 GHz low-power RF transceivers, transmitters, and wireless MCU devices from Texas Instruments. CC1190 integrates a power amplifier (PA), a low-noise amplifier (LNA), switches, and RF matching for the design of a high-performance wireless systems. It enhances the  link budget by providing a power amplifier for increased output power, and an LNA with low noise figure for improved receiver sensitivity.

Develop your Internet of Things (IoT) software application on the CC1310-1190 LaunchPad kit using the SimpleLink CC13x0 software development kit (SDK) featuring: the TI 15.4 stack, RF driver, power management driver and multiple peripheral drivers. The SDK also includes several “getting started” software examples to kickstart your development. All software examples included in the SimpleLink CC13x0 SDK support the CC1310-1190 LaunchPad kit, making writing your application easy. SmartRF Flash Programmer 2 can be used to program the flash memory in Texas Instruments ARM based low-power RF wireless MCUs over the debug and serial interfaces. The flash programmer includes both a graphical user interface and a command line interface.

SimpleLink™ CC13x0 Software Development Kit is a set of software development tools that enables engineers to develop software applications on the SimpleLink™ CC13x0 ULP devices. This powerful software toolkit provides a cohesive and consistent software experience for all SimpleLink™ CC13x0 users by packaging essential software components such as TI RTOS, peripheral drivers, TI 15.4-Stack, Bluetooth Low Energy, and RF-Proprietary examples in one easy-to-use software package along with exhaustive documentation.

This is version 4.20.02.07 of the SimpleLink CC13x0 SDK.

What's new

  • The ECDH and ECDSA driver has been updated with new validation options. This driver will now validate public key, random string, signature and private key before driver operations.
  • Bugfix for the TI 15.4-Stack
